IBM’s WebSphere Host On-Demand product provides quick, easy and secure access to host applications using a standard Java-enabled Web browser. WebSphere Host On-Demand requires no client or middleware software, minimizing software implementation and maintenance costs. Supported are System z, System i and DEC/UNIX platforms, as well as TN3270E, TN5250, VT52, VT100, VT220 and IBM CICS© Java Gateway access.

WebSphere Host On-Demand provides a rich set of Java tools including HostAccess Beans for Java, HostAccess ActiveX Controls and HostAccess Class Library. Enhanced security can be obtained using Transport Layer Security (TLS), Secure Socket Layer (SSL), digital certificates and Tivoli SecureWay Trust Authority allowing you to utilize industry standard public key infrastructure (PKI) methods.
